Political Research Associates and Staff Agree to Voluntary Recognition - February 7, 2020

SOMERVILLE, Ma. – Dedicated Staff at Political Research Associates—a vital social justice think tank and strategy center with nearly four decades of fighting A form of oppression targeting Jews and those perceived to be Jewish, including bigoted speech, violent acts, and discriminatory policy. Learn more , A form of top-down political system that concentrates state power in the hands of a single leader and/or group of close allies. Learn more , A social movement based on a belief in biologically determined racial hierarchies, often with the ultimate goal of establishing an all-White nation state. After a clear majority of employees at PRA signed Union cards, PRA Executive Director Tarso Luís Ramos swiftly advanced the process of voluntary recognition with the staff who are excited about joining the Washington-Baltimore News Guild, Local 32035 of C.W.A.

“PRA respects the right of all workers to self-organization and looks forward to a collaborative relationship with the bargaining unit,” Tarso Luís Ramos said on Monday.

As PRA approaches its 40th anniversary, the PRA Union is excited to support the organization in continuing to produce analysis and influential thought leadership for decades to come.

“We look forward to partnering with PRA management to create an engaged vision and to negotiating a fair collective bargaining agreement,” PRA staff members affirm.
