During the summer of 2020, PRA stepped up—and in—to flank the Movement for Black Lives (M4BL) as they took an indispensable leadership role in the nationwide protest movement against anti-Black police violence. As law enforcement and the White supremacist Right set their sights on M4BL, PRA partnered with the organization to shore up its resilience and safety infrastructure and that of other movement organizations, consult on threats from the state and Far Right actors, and strategize on how to use the moment to build towards a transformative future. To this day, PRA remains a close partner of M4BL as the organization has grown to lead the Rising Majority coalition, bringing together scores of organizations to form a broad anti-authoritarian resistance front.
