Kara Loewentheil is the Director of the Public Rights/Private Conscience Project and a Research Fellow at Columbia Law School. She has held academic and litigation fellowships at Yale Law School and the Center for Reproductive Rights, and from 2008 to 2010 she clerked on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
