Kathryn Joyce

Kathryn Joyce is an author and journalist based in New York City. She is author of The Child Catchers: Rescue, Trafficking and the New Gospel of Adoption (PublicAffairs, 2013), and Quiverfull: Inside the Christian A system of social control characterized by rigid enforcement of binary sex and gender roles. Her freelance writing has appeared in The New York Times Magazine, Highline, Pacific Standard, The New Republic, Mother Jones, The Nation, and many other publications. She was the editor of PRA’s The Public Eye from 2015 to 2022.
