Samuel L. Perry

Samuel L. Perry is an assistant professor sociology and religious studies at the University of Oklahoma. His research focuses on the changing dynamics of American religion, politics, race, families, and sexuality. He is the author of numerous articles and 3 books, the most recent of which is Taking America Back for God: The contemporary idea that America was founded as—and was intended by God to be—a Christian nation.
