SOMERVILLE, Ma. – Dedicated Staff at Political Research Associates—a vital social justice think tank and strategy center with nearly four decades of fighting antisemitism, misogyny, authoritarianism, White nationalism, and other threats to democracy—have committed to form a Union.
After a clear majority of employees at PRA signed Union cards, PRA Executive Director Tarso Luís Ramos swiftly advanced the process of voluntary recognition with the staff who are excited about joining the Washington-Baltimore News Guild, Local 32035 of C.W.A.
“PRA respects the right of all workers to self-organization and looks forward to a collaborative relationship with the bargaining unit,” Tarso Luís Ramos said on Monday.
As PRA approaches its 40th anniversary, the PRA Union is excited to support the organization in continuing to produce analysis and influential thought leadership for decades to come.
“We look forward to partnering with PRA management to create an engaged vision and to negotiating a fair collective bargaining agreement,” PRA staff members affirm.
