Arielle Levites
Arielle Levites received her PhD from NYU in 2016. She is a Visiting Assistant Professor at Hebrew College, a Research Fellow at the Shalom Hartman Institute of North America, and an Affiliated Scholar at Brandeis University. She is the recipient of the Charlotte Newcombe Dissertation Fellowship from the Woodrow Wilson Foundation and the Student Research Award from the Society for the Scientific Study of Religion. Her research focuses on the culture of contemporary American spirituality through the lens of religious emotion.
