Ivan Petrella is an associate professor in religious studies at the University of Miami. He?s the author of The Future of Liberation Theology: an Argument and Manifesto, Beyond Liberation Theology: a Polemic, and editor of Latin American Liberation Theology: the Next Generation, co-editor of Theology for another Possible World and executive editor of the Reclaiming Liberation Theology book series for SCM Press. He?s currently working on a manuscript tentatively entitled Beyond God: American Exceptionalism and the Future of Religion.
