Jocelyne Cesari

Jocelyne Cesari, Associate at the Center for Middle Eastern Studies and Center for European Studies, teaches at the Harvard Divinity School and Government Department and serves as Director of the Islam in the West Program. In addition to coordinating euro-islam.info and islamopedia on line, Dr. Cesari has authored several books and articles on the situation of Muslims in Europe and the US. Her most recent books are: Encyclopedia of Islam in the USA: When Islam and Democracy Meet: Muslims in Europe and in the United States (Palgrave 2006) and European Muslims and the A neutral term used to describe someone or something, such as in law, as non-religious in character.
