Marion Grau
Marion Grau is Professor of Systematic Theology and Missiology and the Director of the Egede Institute at the MF Norwegian School of Theology in Oslo, Norway. A native of Germany, she studied theology at the University of Tübingen and earned a Ph.D. in Theological and Religious Studies from Drew University. From 2001 through 2015 she taught at the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, California. She is the author of Rethinking Theological Hermeneutics: Hermes, Trickster, Fool, Rethinking Mission in the Postcolony: Soteriology Beyond Imperialism, and Of Divine Economy: Refinancing Redemption. Her current research projects include a monograph on the redevelopment of pilgrimage, the reimagination of Norwegian identity through the heritage of St. Olav.
