Rebecca T. Alpert is Associate Professor of Religion and Women’s Studies at Temple University. She is the author of Like Bread on the Seder Plate: Jewish Lesbians and the Transformation of Tradition, and the co-author of Exploring Judaism: A Reconstructionist Approach.
