Sara Lipton

Sara Lipton is Associate Professor of History and Judaic Studies at Stony Brook University (SUNY-Stony Brook). Her scholarship focuses on Jewish-Christian relations and religious identity in the Middle Ages. She is author of Images of Intolerance: The Representation of Jews and Judaism in the Bible moralisée (1999) and Dark Mirror: Jews, Vision, and Witness in Medieval Christian Art (Metropolitan Books, 2014).
