Suzanne van Geuns is a doctoral student at the University of Toronto. She is interested in the ways in which the internet is used to launch right-wing visions of the future. Concretely, her research explores the loose constellation of blogs, forums, and news sites that may be called conservative Christian, white nationalist, or antifeminist. This ranges from online discussions concerning the godliness of particular diets to passionate rejections of feminism as threatening the future of the (white) nation.
