The Public Eye, Fall 2019

The Fall 2019 issue of The Public Eye highlights four disparate but equally innovative tactics taken by the Right: 

• Employing Russia as a romanticized ideal of the imagined ethnostate, 

• Utilizing antiracist language to recruit people of color in order to mask Far Right agendas, 

• Disavowing acts of violence spurred by right wing rhetoric without disavowing or, indeed discontinuing to employ, violent rhetoric, and

• Disingenuously capitalizing on child welfare to dismantle the precarious sovereignty of indigenous American governments.
