The Daily Beast draws heavily on the work of PRA researcher Cole Parke to show how the U.S. Right is working overseas, particularly in Russia, to develop a ‘Plan B’ against LGBTQ rights. It’s a storyline PRA has been warning about for years. Christian Right leaders know LGBTQ rights are inevitable here in the U.S., so they have taken their anti-LGBTQ and anti-choice campaigns and exported them to anti-Western countries (e.g. Uganda, Nigeria, Russia, etc.) where, once implemented, they can then seek to re-import them back to the U.S.
