Newsweek: How Timothy McVeigh's Ideals Entered the Mainstream

Newsweek reporter Nina Burleigh interviews PRA executive director Tarso Luís Ramos about the mainstreaming of Patriot and Militia Movement rhetoric and ideals. As Ramos explains, the often-violent rhetoric largely dissipated after the Oklahoma City Bombing in 1995. But it slowly grew back, before once again exploding in popularity following the election of Barack Obama to the presidency, resulting in incidents like the Bundy Ranch standoff.
